turning 21 part deux.dinner at the cheesecake factory with some of the other singaporeans. peach bellini, buffalo chicken breasts and craig's crazy carrot cake cheesecake.

turning 21: part unewatching the sun set from the top of the space needle. the surrounding area epitomises my idea of an ideal date, what with the carousel, ferris wheel, arcade, hot dog stand, coffee joint, although yes it does seem like a notion successfully perpetuated by hollywood.
dinner at buca di beppo, a popular restaurant nearby, with suz, tony & jorms. pizza con pollo, linguine with mussels and shrimp, a sampling of buca appetisers (crabcakes, shrimp and calamari) and quattro al forno (not pictured, but it had canneloni, ravioli and stuffed shell). also...i was surprised with a godiva chocolate cheesecake from the cheesecake factory :) the waiter brought out tall red candles with candlesticks that were useful props for taking silly photos. then there was riesling...one day to my 21st birthday and the waiter didn't check ID. hahaha.
good times indeed.

update!
updates are long overdue and in the works. so much has happened in the last week and a half, mainly spring break and turning 21. thanks to everyone who wished me - it was one of the best birthdays ever and i feel truly blessed. the next half of my exchange begins this week and i am determined to make the most out of it. spring break was a blast - had tons of fun in san francisco, las vegas and the grand canyon, although the viewfinder of my camera is now damaged and i will have to plop some dough on a brand new one. also, the cherry blossoms on campus are in bloom and it's a beautiful sight. heaps of pics to come soon.

heartwarmer.
yes, the kinda cute korean coffee guy made my vanilla latte this afternoon, in addition to initiating the conversation, but i shan't make too much out of it. it did taste really good though:)

daylight schmaylight.
that's the best coffee i've had in a while - peppermint white chocolate mocha. click on it to see the latte art...it's actually a huge flower. made by a kinda cute guy, lol. i am slowly but surely getting the hang of making random spontaneous conversation. daylight savings just kicked in, so instead of it being 2am its 3am, so i will be sleep deprived for 2 more days and i have to hand in my paper one hour earlier. ARGH.
